Mute swans

Mute swans, Töölönlahti,
Helsinki 24.10.2014.

I hadn't seen the swan family for a
couple of months. Sadly the family
had lost one cygnet since then.

We had a few cold days last week.
We got a little snow and there was
some ice along the shore. Now it's
almost 15 degrees Celsius warmer again.

I'm linking to Wild Bird Wednesday.

  13. I'm wondering then, was it the cold weather the reason for the family's loss maybe? So sad. They're such a regal, elegant bird. And your photos do them justice! Beautiful.
