Vicuña

the Helsinki Zoo, 30.8.2014.

The vicuña comes from South America and is
believed to be the wild ancestor of the alpaca.
It's the national animal of Peru.

  5. What a lovely animal, he looks wild unlike the alpacas I see here that are pets and are trimmed to look like big poodles.
