Hi Gunilla, nice little bug we call 'Marienkäfer' here in Germany, as far as I know it's called 'nyckelpiga' in Swedish... ;-) And in Finnish??? Let''s guess... ...what about 'leppäkerttu'??? ;-))
Dear Gunilla, a beuatiful macro, the ladybugs seems a bit tired and seeking protection by the weed. Now I am going to look up "fireweed". Have a nice day! Yours, Sarah
Seven spotted lady beetle! Those bugs are actually native to the US (probably Europe, too?). The ones with lots of spots are invasive species from Asia. I love to see the native ones (they are disappearing rapidly around here). Great shot!
Wonderful ladybird photo, macro insects are one of my favourite subjects, getting down and dirty with the insect world is a great form of photography.
I've recently started a linky/meme on my blog called photo of the week where people can lonk up their best photos of each week, I'd love you to link up with us http://www.viewsfromanurbanlake.co.uk/p/photo-of-week-linky.html (sorry I hate posting links in comments normally but would love you to pop over sometime).
Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment. I will return your visit (if I haven't visited you already), but please be patient. I might not be able to do so until the weekend. Take care!
