Thank you Daniela! It's about 50 km from Porvoo to Helsinki. I live in Espoo now. It's on the other side of Helsinki and about 70 km to Porvoo. My mom still lives in Porvoo.
Hi Gunilla thanks for your comment on my post. thee photographs are all great. it is lovely to see around you country but my favorite is the trees and the path. Now I wonder when that path leads to and what lies just round the corner!!
Thank you Margaret! These photos are in the order I took them. After the path you come to a place with a view of the Cathedral and the Old Town (the three last photos).
, I´m reopening NF Winged tomorrow Thursday july 24th. We are not many but I can run it for a while and then we will se what happens. It would be great if you could tell people you think might be interested. I was unlucky as the people I thought might be interested in mention it and link to the survey forgot to do it. I can already tell you I will be gone for three weeks in september but can leave a link open during that period of time. Welcome!
Hello Gunilla!:) This looks like a lovely place to live, or visit. I like the pastel coloured houses, and the wooden ones by the water. The surrounding countryside is pretty too, and the market looks interesting.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment. I will return your visit (if I haven't visited you already), but please be patient. I might not be able to do so until the weekend. Take care!
Ahoj Gunilla,
ReplyDeletenice place to live. I just watched it on the map, you do not have to far to Helsinki.

The town looks exactly like...

On the fifth photo from the top I can see the Porvoo's old townhall, am I right!?!?!
And Porvoo Cathedral in the first picture, of course!
That really looks like a great place to live. I was once at Saimaa lake district, but that's more than 30 years ago.
Regards from Germany,
Uwe.
