Canada goslings

Canada geese in Helsinki, Töölönlahti 11.6.2014.

The parents will let you know in no uncertain terms
when there are too many people too close to their young.

I'm linking to I'd Rather B Birdin'.

    1. Thank you Roy! The barnacle geese have had young ones here for years, but this was the first time I've seen the Canada geese with young ones.

    1. Thank you Sallie! A swan tried to take a bite out of my finger once when I didn't let go of a piece of bread fast enough. :)
