  3. Great closeups!
Our crows are all black and I can't help thinking yours looks like he is dressed for a white tie dinner.
    Love their coloring.

    1. Thank you Phil! This is the average crow for us. I know we have a few all black crows, but I've never seen one.

  7. Great photos - that crow is quite beautiful - very different from what we call crows here in Australia.

    1. Thank you Eileen! Yes, this is a hooded crow. It's our usual crow and both in Swedish and in Finnish the name is "crow".

  14. Your crow's colour is like the colouring of our magpie. Stunning beauty of this character.

    1. Thank you Gemma! We have a magpie too. It's smaller than the crow, it has longer tail feathers and it's colours are black and white.

  15. Wow, I agree that these are great captures. Our crow here is all black except for the morphs. I just looked these up and it said pied crow. Very cool bird.

    1. I looked it up and it looked more like hooded crow. And besides the pied crow is more African, I think. Anyway, great photos again. :)

    2. Thank you Shey! It's a hooded crow. We have some black crows, but they're unusual here.
