Thank you Margaret! There's still some ice on the lakes and where there's been running water, but the snow is gone now. These photos are from two weeks ago.
for someone living on east coast of Australia, to be able to walk your walk and see what you see with you like this Gunilla, is very special. You took me to another place entirely. Fabulous scenes.
Some beautiful nature photos. I know that ice takes much longer to melt the deeper you are in the forest (and away from the sun) but all the photos are pretty. Looks like you have some nice places to walk.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment. I will return your visit (if I haven't visited you already), but please be patient. I might not be able to do so until the weekend. Take care!
Hi. I do hope that ice is still not around now but the shots are wonderful. Love the trees and their shadows.

ReplyDeleteThank you Joyful! I enjoy walking in the forest. It's very peaceful when you only hear the birds and the wind in the trees.
DeleteThat second shot reminded me of when I "ice" or "frost" a cake and it's too warm, so it runs down like the snowy icicles in your photo!
ReplyDeleteThank you Esther!
DeleteGorgeous set of captures!

DeleteGreat set! Our snow is gone except on a nearby ski slope.
ReplyDeleteThank you Linda! There's still some ice on the lakes, but the snow is mostly gone.
