Blo-Ma: alder




A different kind of flowers this week:
these are alder flowers (male flowers).
The hard cone-like structures are
last year's fruits.

  12. Yes Gunilla you are right. I know from bitter experience that alder cones are virttually indestructible, yet finches, especially redpolls love them.
