      Thank you Sharon! The ship is a Christian symbol for the church guiding the people to eternity. The ship is a common feature in many medival churches.

    Dear Gunilla, thank you for your participation. Nice photos of cathedral. I read in Wikipedia about its history and the disaster that hit the church in 2006. Have a nice weekend.

      Thank you Daniela! The fire was terrible, but luckily it didn't spread to any other buildings. In that case the whole Old Town could have burnt down.
