Portrait of a swan

Mute swan, 18.12.2013, Töölönlahti.

We're having a very warm December without
snow and ice. The swan family of eight is still here.
The young ones are as big as their parents
and their plumage is starting to show some white.

I'm linking to I'd Rather B' Birdin'.

  2. Gunilla....Most of the swan pictures are of the entire swan in the water and not focusing on the face. These are awesome and really let someone see what a sway really does look like. Those eye look quite stern!

    1. Thank you Genie! The swans are used to people and they let you come very close. I've tried to get some close ups too.
