Wood anemone

One of my favorite wild spring flowers:
the wood anemone (anemone nemorosa),
Margareteberg 11.4.2015.

I only found a few open blossoms on
a slope facing south.
Four photos of the same flower,
gradually getting closer.

I have noticed that of the Anemones I have shot this spring, some have 7 petals and some have 6 petals, I never realised that before.
