Hi! Nice captures. I remembered a song "Tie a yellow ribbon round the old oak tree". From your photos, good old days appeared in a heart. Thanks for sharing.
That is a nice old Oak, I like to visit a Caravan Park in the UK called Old Oaks though now the tow oaks there are more or less dead, their acorns have gone on to produce a lot more trees round there.
What a magnificent tree ... and so big as shown by the tiny person walking on the sidewalk. I am with you ... the old Oaks just seem to have so much to say. I have a favorite, but it is hard to photograph because it is on a corner of a field where there is a stop light in front of it. If I take the picture from the stop I get the light in in the picture and if I get on the other side, there is always a car behind me so I can't stop to take the picture. I will figure it out some day and share it with you as you have shared your favorite. Beautiful, Gunilla
En kyllä yhtään ihmettele, että olet kyseiseen puuhun rakastunut. Sehän on komea kuin mikä! Uskon, etten minäkään pystyisi kävelemään sen ohi ilman että ottaisin siitä kuvan joka kerta =).
Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment. I will return your visit (if I haven't visited you already), but please be patient. I might not be able to do so until the weekend. Take care!
