The old oak

I love this old oak in the park close to where
we live. I take photos of it every time I
walk past it. It's an amazing tree.
Photos from 18.4.2015.

I'm linking to NF Trees and Bushes.

  1. Hi! Nice captures. I remembered a song "Tie a yellow ribbon round the old oak tree". From your photos, good old days appeared in a heart. Thanks for sharing.

  2. That is a nice old Oak, I like to visit a Caravan Park in the UK called Old Oaks though now the tow oaks there are more or less dead, their acorns have gone on to produce a lot more trees round there.

  6. What a magnificent tree ... and so big as shown by the tiny person walking on the sidewalk. I am with you ... the old Oaks just seem to have so much to say. I have a favorite, but it is hard to photograph because it is on a corner of a field where there is a stop light in front of it. If I take the picture from the stop I get the light in in the picture and if I get on the other side, there is always a car behind me so I can't stop to take the picture. I will figure it out some day and share it with you as you have shared your favorite. Beautiful, Gunilla

    1. Thank you, Andrea! There's a trash can close to this old oak. This time I avoided getting it in the photo, but I don't always remember it.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment. I will return your visit (if I haven't visited you already), but please be patient. I might not be able to do so until the weekend. Take care!
