  2. Snails are amazing, the black eyestalks and dark shell are interesting. I've never seen such a dark snail. I took the shell off my racing snail, hoping it would make him faster, but if anything, it made him more sluggish. ;-)

  14. Enjoyed the photo of the snail! I never used to notice snails much, but a few months ago a couple friends and I started an online slow-time-control chess tournament we named "Snail Bucket." Since then I've been surprised to see all the great photography--and even artwork--with snails as the subject!
