Swans on the bay














Mute swans, Töölönlahti, Helsinki 26.6.2014.

I often walk along Töölönlahti on my lunch breaks.
The bay is a beautiful green spot in the center of Helsinki.
In June there were two families of mute swans here.
This family had seven little cygnets.
The parents kept a close eye on everything.
In the last photo a grebe gets chased away.
I haven't seen this family in August.
Maybe the bay got too small for both families.

    The swans are lovely, Gunilla, but I'm most impressed with the updates to your site since I last visited. It's really beautiful. You managed to incorporate a lot of color and still highlight your photos, which is hard to do!
