      Thank you Ruby! My photos are of four different lizards. I probably saw hundreds of lizards and most of them didn't stay long enough to have their photo taken. :)

    I love your shots of the lizard, it looks a lot like a lizard I have had in my yard but I don't see them very much, called an Alligator Lizard. I'm sure they must eat lots of bugs.

      Thank you Marie! Most of them dashed off when they felt me step on the boards. I had to approch slowly and carefully to get some photos of them.

    Great pictures! I never thought about lizards in your country -- I think of them more as tropical since we have them in Florida, but not in Oregon .

      Thank you Ida! The biggest lizard was maybe 15 cm (6 inches), but most of them were under 10 cm (4 inches).
