    Beautiful photos of Fieldfare.
    Here in the Netherlands they come in the winter, but i have the not seen last winter.

  11. I have just had a close encounter with an Australian bird called a Bassian thrush - looks really similar! Thanks for sharing!

    1. Thank you Pete! I had to google the Bassian thrush. The fieldfare will be more grey (head, neck, rump) when asult.

  12. What a nice bird ... kind of shy and well-camouflaged, so you have to look twice to see how handsome he is!

    You always have the best header shots. Your town looks enchanting.
