  5. I planted some of those about 30 years ago, but every Spring my husband when using the weed eater would cut them down when they first would appear. They were so hardy with no care even though they never got a chance to bloom, they would come back each year. Finally, last year I dug up the bulbs and put them in a safe place, and this Spring I got to enjoy my Grape Hyacinth. Yours are so lovely also. Such a pretty little flower to welcome Springtime. :)

  6. They are so unique looking - when viewed up close they almost look like berries. (I guess that is why they're called "Grape" hyacinths!)

  7. Wonderful close ups and portraits of this sweet spring flower. We used to have it in our garden when we had one years ago. It's another one I miss these days...doesn't grow in Florida.
