very happy to be bathing.
Yes, they were. Very few places with open water suitable for bathing as long as there is ice.
Lovely photos, well done!
Thank you Hans!
Nice spring time dip in the water!
Thank you Suzan!
vilka härliga bilder du fått på duvorna. Så gulligt. :)
Ah - sweet shots! And it still looks cold with the ice over there...
Thank you! These photos were taken in March.
My favorite is the second photo ... That looks so beautiful ...Greetings from BerlinTimur
Thank you Timur! That's my favorite too.
You did a super job of capturing the action-packed bathing ritual!! Love this. Being a bird 'lover' ----I think I like the duo best. They're watching you.
Thank you Anni! They were keeping an eye on me for sure.
There is just something cute about seeing birds taking baths. Great shots!
Thank you Eileen!
Fun sequence!! Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.

Great photos of the pigeons. I had never thought of birds bathing in water with snow around - I guess they would have to!
Looks like they are all fluffed up to beat the cold. Great shots!
Thank you Karen!
That must really feel cold! Cheers and thanks for linking to WBWStewart M - Melbourne

Have these pigeons been taking lessons from the Russian ice swimmers?
Thanks Arija! Finns do that too, well some of us at least.
