Sunny cold Saturday

We had a fabulous cold Saturday morning. It was so pretty while it lasted!

I went shopping with Ronja while Mirja had swimming-school. She also wanted to see the Buddy Bears.

My husband's interested in model railways. This weekend there was a model railway happening and of course we had to go there.

My favorite was this model with lights and autumn colors. They'd even found a darker corner for it and it was really pretty! The details were amazing!

More Buddy Bears

We're celebrating Mirja's birthday tomorrow. I really should be cleaning and baking. It's more fun to post more pictures of the Buddy Bears. The details on some of them are amazing. You're always discovering new things to admire.

Buddy Bears in the Square

We have Buddy Bears in the Senate Square in Helsinki. The Bears are life-size, made of fibreglass, painted and there are more than 140 of them. The original Bears were developed by sculptor Roman Strobl and the German businesspeople Klaus and Eva Herlitz in 2001. The United Buddy Bears have been touring the world with a message of peace, understanding and tolerance among nations, cultures and religions.

Autumn in the forest

Here are the pictures from our walk in the forest on Sunday. Most of the day was cloudy, but we enjoyed our walk anyway. The sun showed itself only after we were leaving the forest and were getting ready to go home.
