We arrived in Dubrovnik, Croatia,
to a stunning sunset.
It was raining on the islands.
An absolute must when visiting Dubrovnik
is to walk along the city walls to enjoy
the beautiful views over the Old City.
The Old City is an UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The city walls are about 2 kilometres long.
We walked them on a cloudier day, but we
still had to make frequent stops to drink.
They were filming down in the bay.
It was fun to meet the actors and actresses
in medival attire in the streets.
We were also on a day trip into Bosnia and Herzegovina.
These photos are from a village along the Neretva River.
The goal of the trip was Mostar with its gorgeous
Old City with the famous Old Bridge.
Both have been beautifully restored after the war.
The Old Bridge Area is also on the
UNESCO World Heritage List.
We also took the cable car to the top of Mount Srd.
The view from the top was breathtaking both over
the Old City and towards the mountains inland.
I'll be showing more photos over the next
weeks in my Wordless Wednesday posts.
