Mostly coots

A wagtail on a birch branch.

Lots of coots with chicks.

Some were building or repairing their nests.

There's a nest in the reeds behind this coot.

A pochard and a shoveler.

Photos taken at Suomenoja, Espoo,
at the beginning of June (4.6.2016).
