Hello, I was working on my post for Wild Bird Wednesday when I noticed you have already posted yours. Pretty scenery, but the Black Woodpecker is special! I had to stop and tell you I LOVE IT! Now I'll get back to my blog and finish my post.
Love the woodpecker photos - we have something similar in the US called a "pileated woodpecker". I wonder if it's the same thing? Thanks for sharing at http://image-in-ing.blogspot.com/2016/05/getting-ready-to-play.html
Yes, good weather has arrived where you are, and your nature shots are first rate. Beautiful woodland images, a great Woodpecker shot, and ovely clear shots of the fish and skaters!:)
Hello, lovely series of images. The water is so clear I can see the fish. Love the woodie. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Happy Saturday, enjoy your weekend.
Gorgeous...each and every ONE of your photos. I love the woods with the sunlight...AND the woodpecker peeking from it's home in the hollowed out tree. Awesome.
Your participation this weekend at I'd Rather B Birdin' is highly appreciated. Thanks for linking in.
Lovely photos - all of them! Please won't you pop on by https://image-in-ing.blogspot.com/2016/05/american-tobacco-campus-durham-nc.html and link up at this week's photo linky party? You're welcome any time!
Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment. I will return your visit (if I haven't visited you already), but please be patient. I might not be able to do so until the weekend. Take care!

It's a Black Woodpecker (Dryocopus martius). Not the same thing but a close relative. :-)

They're all lovely shots, but I think my favorite has to be the one of the pine cones close up.
