Highland cattle at Haltiala


I visited Haltiala farm during Easter.
It was a beautiful day and lots of people had come
to see the lambs and the other animals.
The lambs were adorable, but I love the cattle.





This curious beauty walked right up to the fence
where we all had a chance to scratch her.

    They are interesting creatures and your photos are beautiful.
    I don't think I've ever actually seen a black one.

    They look like gentle giants but their horns must be dangerous! Nice that one came right up to you to be scratched!

    A fantastic breed of cattle, and your photos are wonderful.
    I only have pictures of Highland cattle, but have never seen them in their natural envirament.
