A walk in Nuuksio

Walking in Nuuksio  national park 6.6.2015.

The first photo is of a cloudberry blossom.

Bog arum or marsh calla.

Angular Solomon's seal.

Lily of the valley, the national flower of Finland.

Beautiful mosses.

The tadpoles had very little water to swim around in
at the bottom of the ditch. I hope they made it.

These frogs were photographed last year (26.4.2014).

  1. Så vakre blomsterbilder! Lijekonvall er utrolig vakre. Jeg visste ikke at det var Finnlands nasjonalblomst! Flotte froskebilder :)

    Ha en fin helg!

  5. These are very pretty flowers. Now I know what Lily of the valley looks like and that it is the national flower of Finland. When I was a young kid, I used to catch tadpoles. Now I wouldn't even dare take snapshots of frogs for fear of the frog jumping at me. Have a wonderful weekend!

  17. Kieloja ja lakan kukkia ovat tosin kauniita kukkia. Onkin kiva nähdä sammakoita hyvässä tunnelmassa. Vaikka talvi pitäisi vielä tulla se tuntuu että kevät on jo tulessa.

  18. I particularly like the first images of the plants and the macro shots Gunilla.
I didn't know about the Lily of the Valley being the national flower of Finland, its my sisters favourite flower, which she had as part of her wedding bouquet.
