Walking in Nuuksio national park 6.6.2015.
The first photo is of a cloudberry blossom.
Bog arum or marsh calla.
Angular Solomon's seal.
Lily of the valley, the national flower of Finland.
Beautiful mosses.
The tadpoles had very little water to swim around in
at the bottom of the ditch. I hope they made it.
These frogs were photographed last year (26.4.2014).

Flotte froskebilder :)

Really pretty macro shots! I learned something new as I now know lily of the valley is your country's national flower!
ReplyDeleteI remember watching tadpoles hatch when |i was small in the swamp near our farm. Great photos!

ReplyDeleteThese are very pretty flowers. Now I know what Lily of the valley looks like and that it is the national flower of Finland. When I was a young kid, I used to catch tadpoles. Now I wouldn't even dare take snapshots of frogs for fear of the frog jumping at me. Have a wonderful weekend!
ReplyDeleteGreat photos!
ReplyDeleteNice pictures Gunilla! They take me right back to spring.

How refreshing to be reminded of the beauty to be found in warmer weather!
I particularly like the first images of the plants and the macro shots Gunilla.
ReplyDeleteI didn't know about the Lily of the Valley being the national flower of Finland, its my sisters favourite flower, which she had as part of her wedding bouquet.
