Snowdrops







Snowdrops in the Botanic Garden 11.3.2014.
A few days later they were covered with snow again.

  16. Early good morning to you from my time zone Gunilla.
    Snowdrops reminding one of the colour of fresh snow. They are very pretty and so tiny too. Oh! Did they survive being covered with snow? I suppose it would be difficult to still look your best after being chilled.
    Would be a struggle for the first blooms of Spring having to cope with those days when Winter still likes to say it's final good-byes.
    First new life of Spring is quite brave, so good those like you record their courage.
    Your clock shows me it's night time for you, have a lovely evening, and a restful, refreshing sleep.

    1. Thank you Magda and good evening from us (or almost good night now)! They were just as pretty when the snow melted. The first blooms aren't easily scared by a little cold or a little snow. They often come up through the snow to show their beauty.
