Mute swans







The family of mute swans in Kaisaniemi 11.3.2014.
I saw them again this week and I only saw 
one of the cygnets with the parents.

    I'll bet those cygnets are ready to leave home Gunilla. Can't stay with mom and dad for ever!

    Wow, such beautiful, elegant pictures of swans♡♡♡

    Every time I saw swans, I start having nostalgic feeling for them. We had 400~500 hundred of them in our city park. They were killed because of bird flue.
    I reminisce the time feeding them when young with my parents(^^;)

    Fantastic photos of this swan family. Such noble looking birds. I wish I saw them more often but there are none that live nearby. Thank you for sharing yours Dear Gunilla.

      Thank you Daniela! We still have ice on the lakes and partially on the sea and the swans aren't nesting here yet.
