Eurasian coot

Coots at Drottningholm Castle in Stockholm.
This was a new bird for me and it was a
delight to get to see them this close.
I'll show the chicks another time.

    1. Thank you Bill. I think we have a few hundred moorhens in Finland, but I've never seen one. Coots are more common.

  2. det ser ut som om den dansar. :) Har ni den inte hos er? Här har vi hur många som helst. Fast i år har det inte varit så många som det brukar.
