Gull update


Remember the common gull in one of my
Wordless Wednesday posts sometime in June?
I got the following information from Germany:
Sturmmöwe Larus canus
Ring-Nr. : Helgoland 5418001
Farbring: AEAA
Beringungsdaten: 22.12.2012 Brunsbüttel / NE-Kanal

The bird was ringed 22.12.2012 in Brunsbüttel.
Brunsbüttel is a town in the district of Dithmarschen,
in Schleswig-Holstein in northern Germany, that lies
on the mouth of the Elbe river near the North Sea.
It has been observed as follows:

26.02.2013 Brunsbüttel / NE-Kanal
18.03.2013 Brunsbüttel / NE-Kanal 
22.03.2013 Brunsbüttel / NE-Kanal 
28.05.2013 FINNLAND - Helsinki (by me)
25.06.2013 FINNLAND - Helsinki 
01.08.2013 FINNLAND - Helsinki

    so eine Möwe mit Daten am Fuß hatte ich auch bei uns an der Ostsee gesehen und mit Foto festgehalten Gunilla

    I always find it interesting Gunilla about bird migration and how far some species travel and their habits in relation to this.
