It's hard to believe that the dipper comes here to winter and soon it will be going back north again. The highland cattle look like they need a hair cut.
Love the photos of the young lambs and the cattle. The church look like can nice one to visit. There was snow still on the hills when we were in Wales last week but now it is nuts raining
Hi Gunilla, "Our" dipper has left at the end of March, back home to the North of Europa. Ice and snow have gone, flowers are showing up. Recently I saw a couple of lambs running in the graslands. So, there are clear differences between Finland and the Netherlands but spring is on its way. Greetings, Kees
I think in my next life I want to come back as one of those cows and there would never be a bad hair day! Great photos and I'm hoping your spring is on it's way! Wren x
Now I know I have to visit the Helsinki area, it looks absolutely stunning. I will probably take so many picutres and fill up my SSD drive. Baby sheep are so adorable!
Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment. I will return your visit (if I haven't visited you already), but please be patient. I might not be able to do so until the weekend. Take care!
What a lovely dipper - can you imagine how it handles that freezing water? Brrr.
ReplyDeleteThe cattle need those hairy coats!

ReplyDeleteKiitos, Matti. Olisin voinut katsoa lampaita koko päivän. Ne ovat niin ihania!
DeleteComienza el deshielo y llega la primavera para todos.

DeleteHello Gunilla,
ReplyDeleteI see beautiful photographs of natural ice sculptures.
I love this and also in the Netherlands we have had this many ice cream.
Sorry I have not raced for so long, but my 5-year-old grandson has been killed in October 2017. Now I try to pick up the draare again.

I'm so sorry for your loss, Helma.
