A sweet little bird -- we have a dipper here (an American dipper maybe?) but I've never been able to get a picture of its bobbing behavior -- love the video.
These are ALWAYS a welcome sight....they're beautiful in their 'formal attire'. Great photos. Thanks for participating at I'd rather b birdin' this weekend.
Good morning Gunilla!:) Brrr, it still looks chilly were you are. The sweet Dipper doesn't seem to mind the cold water. I loved your vídeo, I remember you posting another Dipper vídeo, and I greatly enjoyed both. Enjoy your Sunday!:)
It's always great to see this bird in action. I'm glad that I have got such a chance as well this winter. Amazing to see how the bird is behaving in the water. Didn't the sound of the airplane disturb you :-) ? Greetings, Kees
Such a cute bird - was also on Sat. Critters but I failed to see your European dipper, sorry! Also wanted to invite you to SEASONS - a new meme/challenge I started, where any experience of the season goes (so you can use the dipper photo, or any other recent one). The thumbnail link is open Monday - Wed. till 7pm, US, Pacific time. This week in the post SEASONS-Spring has Sprung. Hope to see you there!
That's a fantastic piece of video. When you look at the bird, you wouldn't think that it could go underwater like that, but they are so agile under the water.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment. I will return your visit (if I haven't visited you already), but please be patient. I might not be able to do so until the weekend. Take care!
Brrr! Miten se pieni tarkenee tuolla? :)
