I walked around in Margareteberg Park on 12.9.2015.
I found this gorgeous rose.
I love the dark colour of the dahlia buds.
The colour changes as the flower matures.
Crab apples.
On 13.9.2015 I visited Haltiala farm in Helsinki.
There were lots of animals, but
most of them were far from the road.
Some sheep for the children to pet.
A magpie was making a lot of noise in the bushes.
This hen had dug herself a nice hole to rest in.

HI Gunilla,

Have a nice weekend, Gunilla.
Best regards, Synnöve
Lovely floral images Gunilla and great to see the Highland Cattle.
ReplyDeleteThe Highland cattle are so cute, Gunilla, and I like the gradual unfolding of the Dahlia flowers, they seem to speed up at the end. Energetic music!
ReplyDeleteIhania kukkia ja hienoja eläinkuvia!
ReplyDeleteTäälläkin on joillakin tiloilla ylämaankarjaa. Pitäisi käydä joskus katsomassa pääsisikö niitä kuvaamaan. Ovat ne niin söpön näköisiä. Kuvaajaa tarkasteleva lammas on myös sympaattinen.
Oikein hyvää viikonloppua!
The hen looks comfy.
ReplyDeleteHello Gunilla, I love all the pretty flowers and the wonderful variety of critters. The cattle are beautiful. And the sheep is cute! Great capture of the Magpie and hen! Thank you so much for linking up and sharing your post. Have a happy weekend.

Ofta när skatorna för väsen i skogen utanför tomten här, kan man se en jagande katt på marken - eller om det är katten som är jagad av skatorna.
ReplyDeleteThe 2nd photo reminds me of the Grinch :)
ReplyDeleteLoved the variety - nicely done!
Have a Beautiful Day!
Peace :)
Great photos - the farm looks like a very interesting place to visit. The flowers are beautiful and I especially like the magpie in the bushes.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful countryside, Gunilla ... would love to have taken this walk with you . Nice weather, beautiful flowers, noisy birds and many animals ... what a great way to spend a day.

ReplyDeleteHello again Gunilla!:) I overlooked your magpie shot when I first commented, which was a shame as I think they are beautiful birds, and you also captured it well.
