Sunday walk

We had a little colder sunny day today.

I jumped in my car and went to Hvitträsk.

Hvitträsk was the home of three architects.

Today it's a museum and a restaurant.

There is ice on the lake, but

we don't have a lot of snow this winter.

Next I went to the nature preserve in Espoonlahti.

View up the river.

I saw 10-15 long-tailed tits here,

but I didn't get any photos of them.

My final stop was the Espoo Cathedral.

View inside the Cathedral from the door.

I love the old murals in the ceiling.

Gorgeous stained glass window.

The organ and the pulpit.

I walked a bit along the river before I returned home.

I'm linking to Blogger's Sunday Walk.

Thanks Gunilla for a wonderful documentation of your Blogger´s Sunday walk, Winter.
The pictures of the river landscape are marvelous. I start the summery post when more bloggers contact me. Have a nice week!

    1. Thank you, Margaret! I love our old churches. This one is about the same age as the Cathedral in Porvoo (in my header).

  5. Hienoja kuvia.

    1. Kiitos, Orvokki! Joo, autolla olin liikkeellä. Liikunta tekee hyvää, mutta ei kannata liioitella!

  6. Very pretty place to walk! I'm thinking it must be much warmer there than it is here north of Toronto!

Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment. I will return your visit (if I haven't visited you already), but please be patient. I might not be able to do so until the weekend. Take care!
