Kvarnträsk / Myllyjärvi


I went to Kvarnträsk (which means mill lake) on Saturday.


Lots of ice and pretty newly fallen snow.

There's ice on the lake, but I stayed on land.



Waiting for swimmers.



I often have two cameras with me:
One for landscapes and one for details
like the ice in the photos below.

    Doesn't matter when you walk and it looks like it was a lovely one at that! I too have 2 camera bodies as I just don't want to be trying to manage getting lenses off and on all the time!

      Thank you very much! I had to have my camera body cleaned after getting something in it when I changed lenses in the wrong place.

      Thank you, Bethany! It's not a waterfall, but the surface of the cliff is usually wet after the rain.

    Jeez Mina ........ what an ice !!!!! All that water from the falls as frozen stiff! Very nice to see. I think also the snow in the trees fantastic!
