Very beautiful Gunilla! Such a pretty and quaint place, where is it?
I love how you sprinkled in the lovely flower photographs. I had to stop for a moment and enjoy the basket of toys and goodies too, it was unexpected fun right in the middle of all of your wonderful pictures. You are quite an awesome photographer. :)
Thank you so much Trina, I appreciate it! These pics are from Porvoo. I was born there. I appreciate my old hometown a lot more now that I don't live there anymore. It has become a tradition for us to walk around in the Old Town every summer taking pictures and visiting the small stores. It's always a lot of fun!
I love these photos of Porvoo, and the narrow streets. It does look a bit hilly. Of course also, your flower shots are awesome , as always. Do you now live a long ways from you birthplace. It is always fun to go back though, isn't it!
Thank you Jeanne! The Old Town is a bit hilly with its narrow streets. We live maybe 70 km away, it takes about an hour to drive to Porvoo from Espoo. My mom lives in Porvoo, but we don't go to the Old Town every time we visit her.
Thanks for coming by. These are some really wonderful shots. I love the narrow streets and street fair as much as I do the flowers? Hope you are having a wonderful week.
I love all your photos in this post. If it were not for bloggers like you I would never get to see the world. Thanks for taking me along with you. Your a great tour guide.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment. I will return your visit (if I haven't visited you already), but please be patient. I might not be able to do so until the weekend. Take care!
